For designer Ding Xuyan, design comes from preference and begins with professionalism. Thirteen years of working life have made her strict and paranoid in controlling design details. In her opinion, only by feeling every beautiful thing with your heart and understanding the meaning of home to the owner can you create works that touch people. There is no most beautiful home, only the most comfortable. Customized to create the owner's ideal and comfortable home.
This case is a renovation of an old house. The owners are a pair of young people who do not like conventional design and hope to add personalized design while meeting functional requirements.
Designer Ding Xuyan considered that the kitchen area of the original restaurant was too crowded and redesigned it. First, he made major changes to the kitchen. While ensuring that the usable area of the kitchen was not reduced, the original walls were removed and adjusted. The proportions of the kitchen meet the functional requirements of washing, cutting and frying while increasing the visual area of the guest restaurant. It rationalizes the relationship between the home, the kitchen and the dining room.

The design of the background wall uses irregular raw stone materials to evoke more emotions and memories in a more artistic and sculptural way, creating an unforgettable visual effect and a more layered space.

The color matching of soft furnishings, the collision of geometric figures, the superposition between volumes,The rational use of points, lines and surfaces makes people feel like they are in the ocean of art.

The large windows in the bedroom were retained from the beginning of the design. The first ray of light in the morning comes in, welcoming every day with full happiness. The overall tone of the bedroom is consistent with that of the living room, and the warm bedside ambient lights can give the space a touch of warmth in the cold winter.
